Truth Be Told
Our British-inspired, tavern-styled restaurant, Truth Be Told, is nestled off the lobby.  Click here for the menu and information on our latest events.

Coffee
Complimentary Kobrick Coffee and tea is served in the Living Room from 6:30 am to 9:30 am daily.

Concierge
Our Guest Service Team is happy to help you with reservations, travel arrangements, or any other requests during your stay.

Ice
Available upon request.

Newspapers
A selection of complimentary periodicals are available daily in the living room.   Contact Guest Services for delivery to your room.

Wi-Fi
Complimentary wi-fi is available during your stay. To connect, select the “The Study at Univ.of Chicago” network and enter the password listed on your key card packet. As a part of our security protocols, you will need to repeat this action every 72 hours (3 days).

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out is 12:00 pm. If you need additional time, please contact Guest Services as we try our best to accommodate based on availability.

Dining
Our restaurant, Truth Be Told, offers authentic British cuisine in a tavern-like setting.  Click here for more information.

Fitness Center
The fitness center, located on the third floor, is open 24 hours a day.  Scan your room key on the door to enter.

Housekeeping
Housekeeping Service is provided once daily.  If you do not want housekeeping service during your stay please hang your do not disturb sign on the outside of your door handle and we will honor this request. 

We will enter the room for safety reasons every 3rd day of your stay. 

Please contact Guest Services for additional towels, amenities or for trash removal anytime during your stay. 

Light Service is available after 4pm Daily (Refresh towels, replace water, remove trash)

In-Room Safe
Press the ‘#’ button on the lower left-hand side of the keypad to reset the password.

Enter a four-digit password into the keypad and press the ‘Lock/Close’ button on the lower right-hand side of the keypad. The safe is now locked.

To unlock the safe, enter your four-digit password. The safe will automatically unlock and the door should open.

Laundry & Dry Cleaning
A laundry bag and accompanying form are located in each guestroom closet. Laundry left at the front desk by 9:00 am will be returned the same day by 7:00 pm. Laundry left at the front desk after 8:00 am will be returned the following day by 7:00 pm. No dry-cleaning service is available on  holidays.

Parking
To request your vehicle, please dial 0 to speak to Guest Services. Please allow up 20 minutes for our attendants to retrieve your car.

Smoking & Vaping
The hotel is a non-smoking and non-vaping property. Smoking in your guestroom will result in a $250 cleaning fee that will be charged to the credit card on file for your reservation.

Safety & Security
Your safety and security are of the utmost importance to us. The hotel maintains a 24-hour security and management team. If you need any assistance during your stay, please call Guest Services by dialing 0 and someone will be dispatched to assist you.

For ambulance or police, dial 911. Know where the nearest stairwell and exit are located. Behind the door to your room, you will find a map with your location and all exits. Remember to safeguard your room key, double lock your door, and use the peephole before opening.

Fire Safety
In the event of a fire emergency, you will hear the fire alarm sound. Please remain calm, follow the instructions located on the back of your guestroom door and proceed down the stairs.  There is an intercom located on every stair landing if any assistance is needed. Do not use the elevator. All hotel guests will be directed to the Living room on the 1st floor for further Instruction.

If you are in your room, test the door with the back of your hand to make sure the door is not hot. If hot, do not exit. Stay in your room, call Guest Services by dialing 0 or 773.643.1600 and report your room number.

If unable to utilize stairs, please also call Guest Services and security will provide assistance. If smoke enters your room, seal the door by placing wet towels or sheets at the bottom of the door.
